A Whitsunday developer has announced grand plans for the Faust building on the corner of Mill and Main streets of Proserpine. Plans have been revealed for a 360-degree cinema, a conventional cinema, a licensed cafe and a nine-pin bowling alley.
A five-metre and an eight-metre dome-style cinema and a 46-seat cinema are planned for the ground floor and on the first floor a six-lane European-style bowling alley and a host of family friendly amusements.
Many locals are excited at the possibility as it will offer a land-based experience and more diversity in the region; offering things to do in the wet season and at night.
The entertainment complex centre is expected to open by Christmas this year.
